Product Owner for Global Crypto Exchange

To lead this initiative, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. Role Overview: The Product Owner will play a pivotal role in driving the successful launch and operation of our crypto exchange. We are looking for a candidate with deep knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry, particularly someone who has significant experience with Tier 1 crypto exchanges. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex digital products, a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, and the ability to navigate the fast-paced and highly regulated world of cryptocurrency. The role requires frequent travel and close communication with regulatory authorities in multiple regions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end development and launch of our cryptocurrency exchange platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, marketing, compliance, and customer support, to deliver a world-class product. Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, IT capabilities, and market needs. Oversee the integration of key features such as trading engine, wallet services, KYC/AML, liquidity solutions, security protocols, and APIs. Work closely with the IT and engineering teams to ensure the platform's scalability, security, and performance. Ensure the platform adheres to high standards of cybersecurity and data protection, implementing best practices in exchange security, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), encryption, and distributed systems. Communicate effectively with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with global crypto regulations, particularly in Tier 1 jurisdictions. Stay up to date on regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure the exchange complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitor offerings. Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to post-launch optimization. Travel frequently to meet with stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth operations and ensure global compliance. Act as the main point of contact for all product and IT-related decisions and initiatives. Key Qualifications: Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally with Tier 1 cryptocurrency exchanges. Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading systems, blockchain technology, and IT infrastructure. Hands-on experience with IT systems architecture, including cloud computing, microservices, and APIs. Knowledge of database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with crypto regulations and compliance (KYC, AML, etc.) in key markets. Demonstrated experience interfacing with regulatory authorities and navigating compliance requirements in different regions. Ability to travel frequently to meet regulatory authorities and partners as required. Experience working with trading platforms, blockchain networks, and wallet solutions. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment. Experience with agile methodologies, IT project management tools, and DevOps practices. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data to improve product performance. Ability to work collaboratively across time zones with a global team. Why Join Us?
