Let’s go!  Your Mission As an AFC Specialist you will join a specialized and high-performing Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Execution team dedicated to safeguarding the ecosystem against financial crime. We are a technically-driven group of experts focused on identifying and mitigating risks such as money laundering, fraud, and terrorism financing. Operating at the intersection of traditional compliance and cutting-edge blockchain technology, our team fosters a culture of independence, proactive problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our operations remain resilient and ahead of emerging global typologies. What You’ll Do Lead and Execute Complex Investigations: Act as an investigator for high-risk cases, conducting in-depth analysis for Enhanced Due Diligence, Proof of Funds/Wealth, Transaction Monitoring alerts, and PEP/Sanctions screening. Utilize OSINT, on-chain analytics (e.g., Chainalysis), and crypto exposure analysis to produce high-quality, well-documented case files for AML Officer review, including SAR recommendations. Quality Assurance & Control Effectiveness: Execute and refine quality control processes and frameworks, ensuring adherence to AML/CFT standards, driving remediation of identified gaps, and implementing continuous improvement measures to strengthen operational resilience and compliance maturity. Policy Development and Maintenance: Keep up to date on typologies and regulatory developments while developing, reviewing and enhancing AML/CFT policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring effective implementation and consistent application across stakeholders. Reporting & Data Analysis: Analyse and consolidate key data to produce clear, risk-focused reporting that supports crypto monitoring and regulatory compliance.  Provide structured insights through dashboards, summaries, and ad-hoc analyses, and ensure timely escalation of unusual or high-risk activities to the MLROs and your line manager, enabling informed and effective decision-making Research and Assessment: Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices in financial crime prevention and crypto assets, translating insights into structured risk assessments that enhance and continuously improve the organisation’s risk analysis framework. Who You Are You possess an analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex problem-solving scenarios with high attention to detail and sound judgement. You possess profound expertise in complex financial crime compliance frameworks—including counter-terrorist financing (CFT), sanctions, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and are highly motivated to continuously adapt and enhance this knowledge in a fast-evolving regulatory environment.
