Senior Backend Engineer

Own the services behind BlockJobs — job ingestion, matching, applications, and payments — building reliable, scalable APIs that keep the platform fast and trustworthy. What you'll do • Design and build APIs for jobs, applications, matching, and payments • Scale our data pipeline that ingests and de-dupes thousands of jobs daily • Improve reliability, observability, and query performance at scale • Integrate third-party data sources and on-chain (Solana) payment flows What we're looking for • 5+ years building backend services in Node.js/TypeScript • Strong SQL and data-modeling skills (PostgreSQL/Prisma) • Experience with queues, caching, and scaling read-heavy systems • Bonus: experience with crypto payments or web3 infrastructure Why BlockJobs We're building the job board crypto talent actually wants to use — full job descriptions, AI matching, and one-click auto-apply paid in USDC on Solana.
