Senior Bitcoin/JS Developer

Responsibilities - Write code for a new open source bitcoin wallet based on JS/chrome extension - Communicate with electrum SPV server to get transaction/balance data - Write modular and optimize core engine that does various tasks like create wallet, send/receive bitcoin - Code extensive unittest cases that ensure security/correctness of each module - Implement frontend screens provided by the design team Required Skills - Proven experience in contributing to well-known open source Bitcoin projects. - Strong understanding of Bitcoin protocol and wallet internals and security - Proficiency in JavaScript for development tasks - Deep understanding of cryptography / web security - Comfortable with HTML/CSS Nice to Have - Previous experience in developing Chrome extensions.
