Senior Account Executive, Ads (L3) Selangor Sales – Sales / Full-time / Hybrid apply for this job CoinGecko is a global leader in tracking cryptocurrency data. For more junior candidates, the hiring team may assess you as a Mid-Level candidate (L2). What You Will Be Doing Advertising Sales: Own individual sales quota and consistently meet or exceed sales targets through new client acquisition, account retention, and revenue growth. Deliver consultative sales by understanding client needs and providing recommendations on monetization, targeting, and performance to maximize ROI. Leverage expertise in CoinGecko’s digital advertising offerings to negotiate and secure contracts that align with both client and CoinGecko business objectives. Revenue Growth: Contribute to optimizing ad inventory allocation, pricing, and sales performance. Collaborate with the product team to evaluate new ad units and maximize the use of existing offerings. Sales Forecasting: Analyze sales data to produce accurate forecasts, identify risks and growth opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. Own forecasting for your portfolio and provide insights from client interactions to help refine team sales strategies.  Lead Generation: Source new business opportunities, implement client acquisition strategies, and qualify new leads through inbound/outbound efforts. Drive client acquisition by managing the sales pipeline, scheduling meetings, and updating CRM. Collaborate with Growth on strategies to improve pipeline quality. Relationship management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and agencies, managing complex relationships and aligning client needs with internal capabilities. Escalate issues when needed and maintain accurate CRM records. Media Planning: Develop media plans for clients, ensuring they align with client goals and CoinGecko’s ad offerings. Provide strategic input on creative formats, placements, and budget allocation, while coordinating with internal teams for smooth execution. Market Research: Research and analyze market conditions, competitor trends, and investment drivers to inform sales strategy. Share actionable insights to support client and management decisions. Sales Reporting & Analytics: Deliver in-depth reporting and insights that help clients understand value and drive growth and retention. Track individual sales performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and ensure targets are met. Prepare and present actionable reports on sales performance to internal stakeholders. Sales Operations & Process Optimization: Support process refinement by identifying inefficiencies and proposing scalable solutions. Ensure accurate forecasting and CRM management. Able to create playbooks to guide junior team members on CRM best practices and documentation standards.
