About the role

At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.  If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value. THE WORK: Ripple’s Settlement and Billing team builds systems that make sure value moves clearly, accurately, and transparently across our products. This platform team holds significant responsibility for the data, status, and financial infrastructure behind all Ripple payments. It serves every customer who closes their books daily. We are hiring a Lead Product Manager to establish and steer strategy and implementation for this team as it moves into its next stage. You'll function at the convergence of platform product development, financial operations, and regulatory compliance — guaranteeing Ripple can expand with assurance in a regulated industry. This is a pivotal role: you will guide the team's strategy, develop its culture, and deliver the internal and external product suite that powers settlement, reconciliation, reporting, returns, and billing across Ripple's full product portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with experience in product launches, determination, and the creativity to develop and advance innovative solutions to complex problems. You'll work closely with diverse groups — Engineering, Operations, Treasury, and Accounting — across all products that Ripple provides. The role will be based in San Francisco and will report to the Senior Director of Product, Platform. WHAT YOU’LL DO:  Take ownership of and advance the strategy, roadmap, and feature requirements for Ripple's settlement and billing infrastructure. Use a deep understanding of technical, operational, and regulatory needs to define platform services that support our full product suite. Collaborate with groups across Engineering, Operations, Treasury, and Accounting to define, build, and maintain products essential to customer trust, growth, and retention. Drive the transition from manual to automated workflows, setting the destination and holding the bar for what "done" looks like from a customer experience standpoint. Identify and evaluate world-class vendors to augment in-house capabilities where appropriate. Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to inform decisions and iterate quickly. WHAT YOU'LL BRING:  8+ years of experience in financial technology, with at least 5 years as a Product Manager. Consistent track record of scaling and evangelizing successful platform products. Extensive background in payments infrastructure — including settlement, reconciliation, returns, and billing processes — and the regulated clients who rely on these systems. Technical competence and understanding of data models, API contracts, and distributed systems. Ability to understand both business needs and technical requirements, and to work across a wide collaborator matrix including operations and finance functions. Motivated by intellectual challenges and driven by a spirit to win in the market. Why this role has significant impact: Critical scope: Your work will underpin the financial integrity of every product Ripple ships. Global reach: Build systems that meet the demands of regulated customers and diverse compliance environments around the world. Strategic alignment: This work is a top company priority with direct sponsorship from senior leadership.
