Product Director (Fiat/Payments)

**Department:** Product **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Location:** Remote # **About the Role** We're looking for an experienced **Product Director** to lead our global **Fiat & Payments** domain. You'll own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the infrastructure that powers money movement—from banking integrations and payment rails to fiat on/off ramps, local payment methods, and global payout capabilities. This is a highly strategic leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, payments, and financial infrastructure. You'll shape long-term product direction while remaining deeply involved in execution, partner integrations, and day-to-day product decisions. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and external partners, you'll build scalable payment experiences that enable global growth. ## What You'll Do - Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the global Fiat & Payments platform. - Lead the development of payment products, including: - Banking integrations - Local payment methods - Fiat on/off ramps - Payouts and disbursements - Card funding and payment acceptance - Design and scale the payment infrastructure that supports seamless global money movement. - Partner closely with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and commercial teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable payment capabilities. - Drive expansion into new markets by enabling new payment rails, banking relationships, and local payment ecosystems. - Build and manage strategic relationships with banking partners, payment processors, fintech providers, and infrastructure vendors. - Define and monitor key product and business metrics, including payment conversion, authorization and success rates, transaction costs, operational efficiency, and customer experience. - Lead product discovery, prioritization, and execution while maintaining a hands-on approach to delivery. - Mentor Product Managers and contribute to scaling a high-performing product organization. ## What You'll Bring - 5+ years of Product Management experience, with significant expertise in payments, banking, fintech, financial infrastructure, or fiat products. - Deep understanding of global payment ecosystems, including bank transfers, card networks, payouts, and alternative payment methods. - Proven experience delivering complex products involving multiple external partners, APIs, and third-party integrations. - Experience launching products across multiple markets and navigating diverse regulatory environments. - Strong knowledge of global payment rails such as ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, PIX, SPEI, and UPI. - Excellent analytical, strategic, and execution skills, with a data-driven approach to product decision-making. - Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. - Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. - Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. ## Nice to Have - Experience with crypto, stablecoins, digital wallets, or digital asset infrastructure. - Knowledge of scalable distributed systems and payment architecture. - Experience leading, mentoring, or managing Product Managers and building high-performing product teams.
