Product Designer (DeFi)

As a Product Designer focused on DeFi at Solana Labs, you will play a critical role in defining user experiences that empower our community and enhance our decentralized financial products. Your design expertise will help shape intuitive interfaces that drive user engagement and adoption in the rapidly evolving web3 landscape. What you'll do • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design user-centric interfaces that simplify complex DeFi concepts. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma that effectively communicate design ideas and interactions. • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on real user needs. • Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across all DeFi products. • Stay updated with the latest trends in web3 and DeFi to innovate and improve existing user experiences. • Advocate for best practices in UX/UI design within the team and contribute to a culture of design excellence. What we're looking for • Proven experience as a product designer, preferably in the DeFi or web3 space. • Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and finished products. • Strong understanding of UX principles and experience conducting user research and testing. • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment, with excellent communication skills. • A passion for decentralized finance and a desire to create impactful user experiences in the web3 ecosystem. • Familiarity with blockchain technology and its implications for user experience design is a plus.
